Why it's important to use the right glass for your lava effect.
Share
🥤 Why does the type of glass matter?
The lava effect needs a stable flow so that the liquid and glitter move smoothly and magically.
When the glass has walls that are too wide , the liquid disperses, the glitter loses its strength, and the result may look "dull" or without the hypnotic effect you're looking for.
❌ Problems when using non-recommended glasses
-
Irregular movement of the lava mix: the liquid does not flow well and the glitter can get stuck.
-
Trapped bubbles: that neither rise nor fall, creating an incomplete effect.
-
Damaged paint: If the tumbler has very thick walls, the paint (or the color of the design) may peel off or stick to the inside, damaging the finish and ruining the tumbler.
-
Opaque appearance: the result looks unappealing and unprofessional.
-
Risk of leaks or difficulty in sealing properly.
✅ Advantages of the right glasses
-
Narrower walls → controlled flow and dynamic lava effect.
-
Greater durability and less risk of leaks.
-
Professional and consistent finish.
-
Protection of color and interior paint.
